Her words have certainly grabbed the headlines, in a way that the ‘normal’ statements wouldn’t.

I really didn’t read it as her advocating giving in the sexual harassment, just that in Australia the system punishes those who speak out about it.

People just take everything way to literally.
What you have here is people essentially grabbing the banhammer and going on a shame crusade because they are either to arrogant or naive to accept something uncomfortable being pointed out by someone who actually knows what they are talking about.
Like the this comment section. “She’s a tool!” “She’s trying to sell books!”
but less “She is a female surgeon who knows other female surgeons!”.
The sexual abuse support groups who are condemning her would want to take a long hard look at themselves.
I guess all the dodgy hand dropping male doctors from around the world will be contemplating a move to Australia now…..
This has given me a new business idea. I am going to market tasers to female trainee doctors “don’t complain about his sexual advances , use your Drogg brand taser to shock him in the balls and use your superior medical skills to keep him alive when you do so”
