A Limerick A Day

at

1Westmoreland Street, Dublin last night

As St Patrick’s Day turned to night,
We were faced with the old fashioned sight,
Of those who appear,
To be full of beer,
Enjoying a puke and a fight.

its no wonder we are known as a nation of drinkers around the world
drink is so cheap more expensive than water

Care to provide real world evidence that alcohol in this country is cheaper than water?

No, I didn’t think so either.

Hey, we have all been there. Which means we are allowed to point and laugh at those who are there now.

Luckily (i suspect) a lot of us here were there at a time before d’internet and cameraphones!

This is very true. Sooooo glad I did all this before all that. Things could be pretty embarrassing

On the flip side pretty sure I’d have reined myself in more if ai thought anyone in a ten mile radius had a cameraphone/social media.. good times

blaming the cost of booze for this is laughable. this is a social issue not a cost issue, odds are they stole what they drank from their parents anyway!

St. Patrick’s Day is not that far removed from the plot of The Purge – obviously without the wanton murder – but still…. It seems as if you can do almost anything and the odds are against you getting caught….

The girls pushed their lunches aside too: onto the pavement, surrounded by Bulmers and sambucas.

Knackers gonna knack. I wish the police would detain anybody wearing a tracksuit upon entering the city centre. Preferably grey sweat pants.

Loud maybe. But violent, disrespectful, thieving, drug dealing, general anti-socialing….?
