I’ll save you all some time –

It’s nonsense up to 1.23, then the lies start:

“Local businesses have been sued or threatened with closure merely for expressing or upholding a traditional viewpoint on marriage”

The local businesses identified include the bakery in NI and the printshop in RoI. Slight manipulation of the facts there…

Ya. 4 examples worldwide of interactions between ostensibly Yes and No voters where the No voters got a knee-grazing. Entirely non-compelling 4 mins for any undecideds.

  2. Joe cool

mandate for marriage. Are they starting to run out of ridiculously stupid names to call themselves

Can someone make a fancy info graphic video for all the scripture highlights in the book of Leviticus?

  4. Drogg

Ok that video and V/O was so bad it was an offence to video makers. Seriously besides all the religious bigotry the no side has the money to make well produced videos and this is the shit they come out with. All I am saying is whatever moron edited this on his iMovie better prey to whatever sky fairy they believe in that I never find them because I will stick their iMac so far up there bum that only Jesus will be able to find it. Also vote yes to equality and no to bad video making.

Drogg would amend this comment but unfortunately when he spotted the mistake he f**ked his computer out the window.

I would appreciate an editable function on posts, it would save me a fortune on laptops being smashed.

How’s being off the smoke going anyway, Drogg. I was going well for a while and caved about 10 days ago. Not too happy about it.

Having kids is making clean living a lot easier and it seems most people i have talked to about it are saying it is the only way to truly stop. I am not saying run out and have yourself some kids, enjoy the freedom as long as possible but it defiantly makes you want to balance your life in a different sort of way.

Could be that any decent video production companies refused to do it based on their personal beliefs.

They say that same-sex marriage will lead to young children being taught about homosexuality and transgender issues like it’s a bad thing to happen.

    1. Andyourpointiswhatexactly

But but but what if they catch gay or decide to become transgender?! What then?

    2. Der

not be taught… be subject to “promotion”, because you see being gay is still something that has become popular because of the death of christian values in society. I am gay because I wasn’t guilted into marrying a woman, and the same could happen to your kids if you allow me have equal rights in my own country.

“The promotion of homosexuality to young children will become increasingly common” — err….people are born with their sexuality. It’s not taught.

The funny thing is, the narrator has a pretty fey voice himself.

    1. Rowsdower

I’m just lucky that when I was young, being handsome was promoted to me, because after all that is how these things work.

  8. newsjustin

That’s one way of looking at things….I guess.

Some of their points are disingenuous – about “state churches forced to marry same-sex couples…” of course, there is no state church in Ireland…etc. Their parenting points are fair enough I think.

As said above, the voice-over guy has an…er…interesting accent.

  9. Soundings

    Not one mention of “equality”.

The polarisation is complete – those against the referendum refer to “same sex marriage”, those for refer to “marriage equality”.

    1. newsjustin

That was always going to happen. For the strong-Yes voters it’s about equality. For the strong-No voter it’s about redefinition.

  10. technid

So they’re talking to young kids about LGBT issues in England, all because they legalised Same Sex marriage? Sounds quite nice if you ask me…

  11. myownself

Civil marriage, religious quotes or views are completely irrelevent, so tough shit pearl clutchers

  12. Formerly known as @ireland.com

Their religious freedoms are interfering with my freedom to be religion-free.

In the words of the great and supposedly gay Wizard, Professor Dumbledore

    SILENCE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Mandate … Man-date? Sounds kinda fruity to me. Surely it’s a good (or godly) thing that all “Man dates” end up in blissful happy marriage rather than the ejaculate and evacuate routine I’m oh so used to. ;)
