I’m getting worried that either Stradbally has moved to Meath or I’m missing out on some cutting geography based point that Bodger is trying to make.

It is of course possible that Bodger thinks that all midlands / east midlands counties are interchangeable.
Laois looks more like Meath on TV and is often used for filming.
For Offaly most producers simply tie a load of cats and tramps up together.
Kildare and Westmeath are places too.
