Minister for Defence Simon Coveney launching a Army recruitment campaign

So Coveney is now rather keen,
To dress up more women in green,
Let’s face it, it’s fun,
To carry a gun,
But the wages are said to be mean.

This is bad news, a supposed neutral country ramping up its military, becoming involved in international conflicts ( thats what “peace” in this instance means) even in a support role.
That paints a target on our heads to every nutcase out there.
Oh, and it seems jobbrodge is being replaced by what can only be tantamount to the draft.
    Was it for this etc…

i think we should conscript the long-term unemployed under 35, detox them, re-educate them and train them up so we can invade somewhere sunny.

With the previous Garda station closures, and moral and trust in the force pretty low, does anyone think they will feel a little hard done by, with this proposal?
