The dynamic is so foreign to me when the two big parties of a country actually have things they substantively disagree with.

There are seriously anti-democratic forces at work all the time in UK, Ireland, US, Europe, etc. Corbyns victory has unsettled these forces following on from inroads made by the left in Greece, Spain and elsewhere in Europe. The attacks on Corbyn by Murdochs media, the Telegraph, Mail, Express and even the BBC, illustrate how the ruling class will not tolerate anything but the most superficial changes in how societies are ordered and whose interests governments serve. Corbyn has just made this more visible. The lies and smears used against him are designed to ensure his vision goes nowhere and they’ll probably succeed. These forces are just too wealthy and influential. They are not going to allow anyone to compromise this wealth and influence. They will insist that they’re interests are served first and foremost and the rest of us can get f**ked.

Indeed, and maybe can I just add that Eamonn Holmes is a tool of the highest order? His contempt for others only matched by his towering opinion of himself. Probably calls himself a “journalsist” rather than “lucky and well connected over-eater”.

It’s so nakedly on display it’s unreal. The BBC are *really* on board with it too. Laura Kuenssberg seems to be following the 2to1 rule, 2 negatives to every positive aspect of a report. Even the Guardian is subtly undermining him over trivial sh1t.

“Labour’s Left Wing Leader” is NEVER matched by referring to “Britain’s Right Wing PM”
