Unleash your inner Proudfoot with a soil-covered prefabricated laminate structure by Florida-based Green Magic Homes.

The company claims these homes (fully ducted for utilities and structurally reinforced by the surrounding soil) can be fully assembled in three days by three people with minimal construction skills and no heavy equipment.

Is it too late to cancel that order for modular homes?

These are GORGEOUS (and probably far cheaper?!)

Whatever the cost in the US, somehow or other they will cost five times as much in Ireland.

“OMG Joan Burton is making people live in holes in the ground…”

When people deliberately misrepresent modular homes as ‘caravans’ just to bash the government, this would never fly.

tempted to see how much it would be to buy one of these for my aul hippie dad, probably hideously expensive

No you’re right, gotta be careful… there’s been a recent upsurge in low flying phallic objects…

.. Directed by prize knob-ends with offensively large penis antennae waving out of their heads like mutant hybrid human-ant queens.

I like these little subterranean, sci-fi-esque nature pods.

If you had a big basement dug out for storage or a secret rocket launch pad you’d be laughing all the way to the end of dystopia.

Be great fun if you’re into BMX or a bit of icey-snow sports in the winter. You’re fupped trying to get a lawnmower up and down the walls tho… unless you rev it up to 90 and take a good run at it.
