It’s the council’s fault, they didn’t give the horse “owners” enough free stabling and feed.

    It’s der culture, boss

Fine but I am sure that there are many non ‘proles’ who would like to own a horse but don’t because they don’t think they can afford to look after one.

Tragic. My dog now must be legally chipped and I need a dog license, what is the situation for horses?

Borty, where we’re going*, we don’t need licences!

*To torture and neglect innocent, living creatures then tip their remains in a canal

Cut back the transgressors’ rations – just one munch box per week, perhaps – then sit them up to chest height in the Canal for a few hours until a little hypothermia starts to bite. Aversion and cryogenic therapy in one.

every time i feel bad about assuming the worst of travellers, i am reminded why i assume the worst.

Let me just put it out there before this thread degenerates: I have no idea of the terrible person’s cultural heritage and would never assume.

Because the 12 horses that are on the bank at the moment, are from the halting site 300 yds away.

That may be true, but it’s a very irish thing for inner city kids to have horses so it could be anyone. No licence needed, no cleaning the street after them or my favourite one you get with the scum around my area…..Not stopping for traffic lights and nearly hitting people.

It’s too early to point fingers, perpetrators are suspected to be unsettled and/or well traveled.

Plus was the horse dead before it entered the water? What does one rightfully do with a dead horse? (Apart from flog it).

Zero tolerance of scumbags needed. They’re anti-social and get in the way of civilized life.

Anyone shouting down the street like a banshee, spitting in public, owning a hard-chaw dog, etc… Bang em up for a year until they learn to behave themselves in public.
