What’s even worse is on my parents road there’s at least three houses parking three cars in two-car driveways – the last with only its front wheels in the garden, the rest of care ENTIRELY blocking the path right into the road. They want a good keying.

Not a Keying per se, (only crime that should still incur the death penalty),
but I find the Ben Hur wheel spikes option on my buggaboo great for days out.
Garda was called once and he said good on you.

Well, maybe not a keying, but smearing dogshit all over them has occurred to me.

Slimey is the word, forcing people with buggies onto the road three times in a short stretch of street because you permanently park a car perpendicular to the footpath, blocking it in it’s entirety should warrant a flogging. It’s the definition of antisocial. Your driveway ends at your gate, it’s a simple principle.

Whats this anti-keying moral high ground cr+p about?? I say key them!! Key them all!!

That buggy going onto the street could have easily squeezed through the gap, and sure if the metal on the buggy damaged the side of the car sure what can you do?! Or if the baby jumped up and accidentally kicked off the wing mirror, or put a brick through the back window? Sure what can you do, ya know.

Agreed – the burglar got away while the Garda looked for a suitable parking spot.

The other car, parking on the path is poor form!!

They park on the road in my parents estate, blocking no footpath or cycle lanes but they do block the road so badly as to be almost impassable, and block people into driveways. It’s a lovely business

What I meant was that they kindly don’t block cycle lanes which is great but what use is that when you can’t even leave the estate, or even your own driveway? Either way, some people just don’t think. And then they end up here in the annals I’d shame.

Offended? I’m just generally confused as to where you’d like them to put the car. Maybe they coppers should be choppered in.

Pretty sure this never happens. More like ring Garda station, wait for laughing to stop, wait for squad car to arrive. Watch driver get into car and leave an hour later. Go home.

How about lifting up the windscreen wipers on the back and front window. Make it a thing to do for obnoxious selfish inconsiderate assholes who park their cars on paths blocking the way for everyone else because they’re too lazy to park somewhere else. No harm done to the cars but annoying for the drivers as they know that some dirty unwashed pleb has had their mucky sullied hands on their precious car.
