In celebration of the up-coming release of Zoolander 2, we’re putting on a screening of Zoolander (2001) that embraces its zany fashion and tongue-in-cheek humour. The audience can pimp an old t-shirt at the make-and-do station, make themselves ridiculous at the blue steel lipstick table or have our makeup artist Katnka transform them.
Host Mugatu will be there to challenge walk-offs, judge the ‘Blue Steels from the Ferraris, ‘Le Tigres’ and ‘Magnums’ and give a prize to the most ridiculously well dressed — all before the screening.

As anyone went to one of these sugar club screenings. Iv always wondered how well they go down. Good night? or just drunk people watching a film? or a mix of both?

Got a freebie a few years back to a screening of The Snapper (release of the DVD).
Roddy Doyle and the actress that played Sharin Cuuuurley did a Q&A beforehand. It was decent enough, but a lot of the scenes where ruined for my OH (who’s not Irish and hadn’t seen the film) by people that were saying the punchlines before they were said. Still enjoyed it though.
Went to see The Birds at the sugarclub. Mostly fine, but two folk started chatting in front of us for the final 20 mins or so, which spoiled it a little.
Nah. Can’t handle all the sneering under the breath comments at my uncool jeans. And that’s just the men.
You do look hot in them!
