I’ve never used one of these machines, but, em, I can’t see any film print there, I can only see a projector.
between the two moving spindles in the top of the image, there is, what looks like, a thin ribbon. That’s the film moving through side-on, so it looks thin. The brass unit on the left of the image is the gate where the film is held while being projected through the brighter brass unit on the right.
spent enough time up there but 70mm screenings are typically so few and far between that I’ve never seen one running.
there’s no fillum in yer projector mister!
Ha! Look harder … I should have posted a vid.
I see it now, this is boring.
Much like large chunks of the hateful eight.
couldn’t stay awake
I have a massive urge to push that big red knob
Dougal, did you push the big red button?
Eh, I did Ted.
I want to see the hateful eight on 8mm.
God damn it! sold out? Well I’ll just have to get drunk in the IFI beer garden.
I’m going to be an asshat but haha iv seen this already on this format and weeks ago. It the only interesting thing to happen to me in years, so someone please ask how.
How?
I know Nisan, but he doesn’t know me. I’m his drug-dealer, but we do it through a third-party and seldom speak to each other.
I can still get free tickets though.
How?
Saw it in Leicester Sq. Biggest meh ever. Film is a huge let down.
