Mickey D always seems to be wearing that tweedy suit. I presume he’s more than one and it’s not the same one over and over? Hup the Hozier.

Hmmm. I’m getting a bit tired of this Hozier guy attaching himself to every worth while cause. It’s cynical self promotion. He played at the funerals of those poor students that fell from the collapsed balcony in the US. But I don’t remember him turning up at anyone elses funerals to play? What about the eight kids killed in that car crash in the North? No flags at half mast or Hozier performances at their funerals.

Yes, if you can’t do everything you should do nothing. Do you think, maybe, he was asked to play at that funeral and he agreed to do so? What would you have said if the headline was “Hozier refuses to play at students’ funeral”?

Damn rockstar and his philanthropic ways, he should be out smashing up brothels rather than doing things for the greater good

She cracked the seal on her second bottle of red, starring straight at the telly she bleated ‘are you still here, thought ye were gonna have an early night?’ head bowed I slunk out the livingroom door to the drums of EastEnders.

I have no idea what “HeForShe” is supposed to represent. I know it was set up by the footballer whose wife was tragically murdered by a homicidal maniac in Melbourne. I read an article he wrote that was published in the media recently and was left confused as to what he was getting at.Maybe I’ve been reading too many Una Mullally pieces lately but it’s as though men are supposed to share collective responsibility for each others’ actions and that there is some inherent evil tendency that we should all talk about amongst ourselves and keep in check.

I think the UN set up HeforShe and Emma Watson is their representative/spokesperson. Man Up is the campaign by Jill meagher’s husband.
