The boss of the auld RSA,
Has several harsh words to say,
That the cops in this town,
Just aren’t clamping down,
On drinkers who still drive away.

The RSA have always been compete cranks.
I drive circa 1500km a week on this island and the only Garda checkpoints i see are the Sunday morning dragnets on the quay at Guinness or further out on Johns road.
As for speed enforcement..the ‘flash for cash’ Transit on the N4 at Lucan,Liffey Valley or Palmerstown is hardly a deterent for the rest of the country.
Yesterday i drove from Dublin to Kilkenny,Adare and onto Tralee and with the exception of a clearly visable Go Safe van near Rathkeale there wasn’t a Garda vehicle to be seen for that 400km journey.
Unless it’s outside the barracks door they’re not interested.
