Can’t and won’t accept Indah as Teasock again. No more humiliation please.

What hasn’t been mentioned by FF is that they’d call a referendum about water. (Ownership). Themselves and FG are trying to think up some compromise that still leaves the ownership of water (and the logistics of delivering it) open to privatisation. Why?
The whole referendum thing was attempted to be got out of by Kelly and his ‘plebicite’ bulls**t. Then the ‘it would have to be signed off by two ministers’. Then ‘it was written into law’. All of which are attempts to pull the wool over people’s eyes. The silver bullet is a referendum. Nothing less. Each of the ‘plebicite’, ‘two ministers’, ‘law’ leave water open to privatisation. A referendum doesn’t.
So it’s time to grasp the nettle, FF, and make it part of any deals, that it must be put to the people. What/who are FF FG afraid of, or are in hock to?

It is bizarre. This is the most important utility in the country because it affects every man woman and child. It shouldn’t even be in the hands of politicians let alone the potential of it being a ‘for profit’ service provision. Then again Bertie Ahern did sit on the board of the International Forestry Fund which attempted to buy state owned Coillte land so FF are no angels in this regard either.

So we lose Bowie at 69, Prince at 57 but the Queen hits 90 and still going strong(ish) – and unlikely to produce a decent tune at this stage.

I was going to say that a 45 year old musician will be up next, but that’s already happened.
