Is that what you say when people comment on your face?

Good lord, I thought there was grime on my monocle but it seems that the lady is painted!

Luane looks well and she’s a bit of a change to the auld crusties in there.. we need more people like her in politics and on RTE. You rarely hear anyone on RTE with her accent even.. all the weather gurls seem to have gotten a lot of elocution.

The ‘weather girls’ are all trained meteorologists who have actually completed their degrees.

      1. The Real Jane

They are all women though, so a bit of disrespect when speaking about them on the internet, please!

The dudette has tats. You’ll all get over it, eventually.

I am more bothered with this wimmin thing of crossing their legs for some sort of photographic effect, a bit like the duck face for selfies, it’s everywhere. What’s that about?

    1. The Real Jane

      She’s the Irish dancing senator.

Also, duckface is great. Slims the cheeks and pouts the lips.

You know, in a group photo of a bunch of women and those at the front do a weird bendy knee bob down – like a half wee pose.

Norris looks like agent Smith there.. once false move out of anyone and he’ll kill them with some screeching and load whinging..

  5. Rugbyfan

what the wage bill for all of the people in that photo, excluding expenses and other drops of gravy!

Could be put to better use elsewhere!

  6. Clampers Outside!

Ah nuts…. I’ll miss Lorraine Higgins’ rants about dresscode, would love to have seen Lynn tear strips off her nonsense call for a ‘dresscode’.

And Fidelma…. ah, the feckin’ muppet. She’ll be missed.

I guess that’s two Galway embarrassments that can be fogotabouh.

    1. Bonkers

And not to forget Averil Power who lost out to Lynn Ruane. The former only liberal in FF

Do these things get the full unvouched expense rate too for not taking the bus into town?

Is Senator the sweetest/cushtiest job in Irish politics? Basic salary of €87,258 + expenses

    1. Bonkers

think its €65k+expenses for a Senator and €87k for a TD. But yeah, cushy number, cushy cash and a cha-ching pinshin to boot

    1. Anne

Where would we be without them though… making unnecessary journeys all over the place.

      1. sǝɯǝɯʇɐpɐq

We’d be on the West side of the country without them.
They are angels. We’re on the East side.

-Imagine what it’s like, living in Limerick or Galway, just rain, rain, rain for every single day of your life until you marry your cousin and get a flat in Dublin… Imagine what that must be like…

Yeah, if you’re from Galway you can always go home, but eh…the other place…Shut up.
