I know you don’t normally do this but would you please share a picture of my engagement ring. I lost it yesterday evening, around Grand Canal Quay area.
I was at Lucio’s on Clanwilliam Terrace, the car park behind Clanwilliam Square, and I was also was sitting outside Café Bar H on the Grand Canal. I am hoping that if anyone finds it they would contact me! Thanks so much.
Anyone?

I was just wondering if any of your readers have seen my two-year-old daughter’s favourite teddy, Lanky! The photograph above is the best I can find.
He is a giraffe-type looking teddy, grey with black spots and a blue top nose. He has a black string hook coming out of his head.
We think we lost him on yesterday morning (Tuesday) somewhere between the Luas stop at Stillorgan and South William street, via Harcourt Street, Stephen’s Green and then to South William Street.
Long shot I know and thanks in advance.
Anyone?
I can related to the first one… worst 20 mins of my life fretting over my lost engagement ring. I really hope you find it.
The second, I will keep an eye out as heading up Harcourt Street towards Grafton street later after work.
Saw “Lanky” tied to a post at Stillorgan Luas stop , Sandyford end, this morning . should still be there .
…..and still he didn’t talk.
Nice one!
Thanks for that Sammyq. If he is still there, was he tied to a lamppost beside the stop or the handrails at the stop? Will go down and have a look after work.
Let us know how it goes!
He was on the platform for heading into town and at the end nearest Sandyford
Thanks for that Sammyq, appreciate it but unfortunate he wasn’t there when we went to check.. fingers crossed someone handed him into the lost and found at the Luas.. waiting to hear back from them.
And Lisa I hope you find your engagement ring.
Wednesday’s to be renamed, Lost it Wednesday.
Good luck finding your stuff all!
Plot Twist : News Update – Lanky on the run with Stolen Ring.
Tee hee! Oh Murtles, don’t be casting aspersions on poor lost Lanky.
p.s. Hope Lanky & the ring are reunited with their respective owners. G’wan Broadsheet, do your stuff.
Is there anything to be said for an auld pray to saint Anthony?
Broadsheet, set up a Lost and Found sidebar just under most commented.
Good idea :)
Oh, the worries of middle class south Dublin.
Don’t be such a judgmental cow! Why take time out of your life to be nasty. Nothing better to do with your time no??
Yeah what ass! Imagine a father trying to get his daughters favourite toy back!
Ya d**k.
