   That lighthouse/beacon at the end of the walkway – can the general public walk out to that?

      Yep, you can walk out along the Great South Wall to the lighthouset & it’s a glorious walk. It’s particularly good in this humid weather – there’s AIR out there. Take the road out towards the chimneys from the roundabout on the Southside of the Toll Bridge (or whatever it’s now called).

   It can be a deceptively long walk, obviously depending on your walking ability, but I think it’s not far off a 4km round trip. The surface, in parts, can be a bit dodgy with a lot of tripping hazards. Otherwise, a great walk.
