Not haute couture, but perhaps reflects the dangling-arse style of most Irish dress.
It’s the Olympics. They’re wearing tracksuits. Get a grip.
Mmmso are the French, but a slight difference in style: http://media.gettyimages.com/photos/members-of-frances-olympic-team-pose-during-the-french-olympic-teams-picture-id525105618
I was wondering what our team would wear as I watched all of the nations come out in smart suits, or a lot of the Africans looking fantastic in ceremonial dress.
I think next time we could look a little bit smarter.

Sports people wearing sports clothes to a sports competition??
Outrageous.
Here lads any ends like, just something to pep me up, and some nice clean child’s urine for my ‘b’ sample.
There is also a singer called Owensie who may have a Brazilian connection
Nothing wrong with it as athletic wear but a lot of the other countries got designers to make the outfits for the opening ceremony. USA had ralph lauren, France lacoste etc. frankly they look like a bunch of skangers in tracksuits.
Inferiority complex then have you.
The Irish team sported trousers which looked like they were wearing nappies. In what way is objecting to stride restrictive clown apparel an inferiority complex?
It say you haven’t a sporting bone in your body.
That’s cos the boxers are up front
As they should be. Our best athletes and best medal chance.
Could have gone a bit less casual, lads!

Guaranteed if they were in suits yee would be grumbling about costs to the taxpayer etc

Typical of RTE to break for ads during the opening ceremony with less than 10 minutes left of it to run.
BBC the only station to watch for the Olympics, unless Ireland are competing then flick over to RTE.
Looks like the Irish Soccer Fans flew from France to Brazil….Stand up for the Boys in Brazil ..Stand up..
