They’ve gone to Amerikay.
MTV presents the US version of the Almost Impossible Game Show, which premieres next Thursday on the beleaguered pop-culture channel and its heavily-pushed app.
Limerick’s finest The Rubberbandits have held on to the voiceover spot in a tough market for UK/Irish telly pilots.

I hate the RBs fake and patronizing Limerick accents.
Well they are from Limerick.
As their schtick gets tired, the accent is the only thing that remains funny.
not from the part that their affected accent comes from . they remind me of Tony Blair etc. faking lower class pronunciation.
In fairness, they’re 2 dimensional comedy characters. Live action cartoon characters. Knocking them over their accent is a bit pointless.
2 Dimensional?
Yes. Unless you think Blind Boy Boat Club is his actual name and he wears a plastic bag over his head when he goes down the shops?
so fictional characters are never analysed? someone inform the humanities .
OK then.
How does using a stage name and headwear make them 2 dimensional?
He’s playing a character. A comedy character. A person *designed* to provoke laughter with his words and mannerisms. Is Ali G 3 dimensional then?
I can’t wait to see which part of this LJG will rip off without giving credit.
Wonder how many months of brainstorming it took to come up with this
That’s Numberwang
The Rubberbandits…. are the new Terry Wogan !
The RBS crack me up on this show. Fair play to them. Shows that Irish humour is the in thing in the UK.
The inside jokes that they have a show called Taigs is the funniest part.
The rest of it is pants IMHO.
But sure fair play to them.
