Surprised there isn’t outrage from the DUP especially after their boat-renaming ‘victory’.

(‘victory’ here having the meaning ‘throwing toys out of the pram’)

      Don’t mention The Fall.
I get confused and start posting videos of The Only Band I Ever Loved Unconditionally.

            Funny story…

I was working in Tower Records in Piccadilly Circus when Madness released ‘\Madstock’. They did an ‘In-Store’ appearance at midnight on the day of release, signing stuff, meeting the fans etc.
            – Every single one of them, plus their girldfriends/wives and various other hanger-ons were caught trying to steal CDs on their way home. Hundreds of copies of their own CD.

            Madness have impunity.
            Nobody was charged.

In fairness it is a pretty good face lift although the coked up concrete architects have obviously lost the run of themselves. A few trees in Belfast CC would be nice?

        Not everywhere.

just one within a square mile type thing.

          Agreed.
I love Belfast and now, thanks to the arse falling out of sterling I’ll get a chance to go far more frequently.

in all seriousness, what’s there to love about Belfast?

it’s a wretched kip at best – i’d almost say worse than Cork

          2. Jake38

Could not be worse than Cork unless it’s also full of humourless unintelligible lumps with chips on all 3 shoulders.

Ah COME ON! You know that’s untrue. Cork’s, like, brilliant.

Belfast is a bit of a hole, Bertie. All English high street with no soul, I think. I’ve been there quite a few times and I just can’t warm to the place.
