Again, don’t be an idiot and assess the road surface ahead as you move along. Tram tacks by their very nature can be a hazard for cyclists who are not paying attention. They cannot be redesigned because they are TRACKS. They are TRACKS!!!
I cycle as well as drive, walk, take the bus. And all of those modes require paying attention and not being an idiot.
When I cycle I do NOT do the following:
1. Cycle on footpaths
2. Cycle the wrong way up a one way street
3. Cycle the wrong way on a cycle path
4. Break red lights
5. Creep up the inside of large vehicles
6. Lock my bike to a pole so it falls down and obstructs a path
7. Cycle too fast in tight busy streets
8. Weave dangerously through traffic
9. Look at my phone while cycling
10. Check out hot women behind me while cycling forward
do you want a cookie?
TRACKS
TRACKS! IDIOTS! TRACKS!
TRACKKKSSSS
In fairness, even if you’re paying full attention and don’t get stuck in them, the tracks are very slippery when wet which people might not be aware of.
10/10 for Bon Jovi reference
I was gonna give a 5 out of 10
……you know-ohhhh-oh, he’s half way there!
I thought most things were slippery when wet
11. Cycle down the stairs.
GOWAN THE COURIERS!
