  1. Tom - not that guy

The guy in Manchester had a huge suitcase, and they are stopping clutches that fit lipstick, keys and large tampons. What is the point of freedom of you can’t bring a naggin to ediie bedder?

Same security stuff at the 3 Arena, and for Forbidden Fruit too. That’ll make queuing fun.

The performance etiquette policy is from Eddie himself. It’s on the Pearl Jam website.

Eddie Vedder isn’t fun, God love him. Great singer but no craic.

      grrrrinds my gears! grrr!
sooner the tools with phones and ipads leave them at home and just bloodywell enjoy the gig they’re at like it’s 1987 again the better imo…

there’s also another phenomenon now I’ve seen at some live gigs and festivals I call “ewww, please don’t invade my personal space-er” whereby the precious adjacent attendee thinks they are at the cinema/Abbey/NCH in booked seats making it real clear its not ok for you to sing along/lepp about/generally engage with the event they are surrounded by…and I’m talking 100yards from the stage here…typically also watch the gig via their iphones

      just very sad + grrrrr!

It caused absolutely no problem at slane, so it wont effect a gig of that size.

  5. Mourinho

It’s always been that way in the Odyssey in Belfast.

And at all museums in Washington.

And perhaps….did you buy a big Boyzone towel?, he asked coquettishly.

No, sadly. I did have a t-shirt, a hat, a bracelet, a necklace and more videos than I’m willing to think about now.

Thought I was only the coolest.

And, what is it with you and the big towels…? Is this some new thing you plan to bring to our sessions?
