@Emmabarnett @jeremycorbyn @BBCWomansHour You repeatedly editorialised in a way no trained BBC journalist would, dropping in your own views / unsubstantiated claims

I don’t live in Britain.
Again, heartiest congrats.
I don’t live in a bungalow.

Who are these people?
Paul Mason lecturing other journalists about editorialising – now there’s a laugh-riot.
(The media do have it in for Corbyn, but Jeebus that Paul Mason fella is a dose).
I disagree, I like Paul …
Fair enough.
But for him to accuse another journalist of impartiality is a bit rich; here he is calling someone who disagreed with him about Syriza’s economice policies a Nazi collaborator.
This is Paul standing in front of a Bank , telling us how sick he is of reporting the same story on a bank https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wf7a53y9RRM
The English media is treating Corbyn nearly as badly as the Irish media treat Sinn Fein.
Ohhh, controversial
Good point.
Another thing I noticed is no wall to wall coverage of the UK election in Irish media.
Certainly nowhere near what the USA gets.
Well, the UK is our largest trading partner, and with whom we share a border. The British elections are much more likely to have an impact on Ireland than the US elections, particularly now with Brexit and everything.
True. But the British election seems less important. It looks like May will win, so no change there.
Also it’s not as sensational as the US elections.

Is this from the UK edition of Broadsheet, or is today’s office attire “tweed cap and pig under the arm” day?
Um, it’s you being spittle-fleckingly parochial here, Eamonn.
The French election was covered fairly broadly here and in Irish newspapers, the British one is far closer to home, no? Since it’s either him or *spit* her who’ll be trashing out details of Ireland’s only land border?
