Poor Preposterous, those home haircutting kits always seem like such a good idea at the time….

After reading more about gardai corruption in the last 5 hours Im really sick of it. Where does the buck stop?

The #jobstownnotguilty has way further implications than we can possibly imagine. It’s up to every citizen now to know their rights.
If a number of Gardai can tell the same lie and be proven in a court of law to be a lie and they don’t seem to be brought to task for that collusion there is something seriously wrong with the legal system in this country and the people who work in it.
It’s a known fact that gardai serve the government and establishment before the Irish people.
Rossport and Water Meters have proven beyond doubt that the public servant cops serve corporations before citizens. They are a disgrace. How many scandals can they dodge?
When they wanted more money they went on strike. Even though they took an oath not to. Despite spin by Noreen O’Sullivan that faith in gardai is up by 46%. Giving a satisfaction of 85%. This is akin to something the Nazi propagandist Joseph Gobbles said ‘if you tell a lie enough times it becomes the truth’. I don’t think they have given the Irish people enough credit. We are a tolerable people and if you look at our history we have a breaking point. Thankfully for everyone these days the people are more informed and peaceful and are able to organise ourselves in such a manner.
We haven’t forgotten the people who laid down their lives for our civil liberties. Obviously the core of An Gardai Siochana have.
If the front line have a shred of dignity and want to really regain the respect of the people they should start blowing their whistles now. VERY LOUDLY!!

Which side are ye on lads???

Johnny, you appear to be “a voice crying in the wilderness” on this forum at least. Keep it up though.

Who was surveyed for this satisfaction rating? Those in over night cells for drunk & disorderly facing a few knuckles or else..

      85%? LOL
Might as well have put it at 99%..

They’re just determined to lose any shred of credibility.
