Is that what it has come to in Ireland; post a pleading advertisement nationally to see if you are lucky enough to a chosen one to get a home.

Well done to all those in Leinster House over the past ten years; you have done a most valuable justice to the citizens of the island by ensuring that only the chosen few will be able to afford to live and work here.

I think this is laughable that this is where we are. Buying a house was deemed a right to every individual not so recently, once they had a salary and good credit rating. Now, even a couple on two high incomes can’t fit the criteria. Something very wrong there.

too true and sadly true. if that’s not an indication of a warped, dysfunctional system, don’t know what is.

A one bed for only a grand, hate to inform that couple, but that isn’t going to happen in town any time soon

Hey Cycling couple: You should look around Cork Street. My boyfriend and I moved into a one bed cottage for €1014/month in July!
