A Tram Marriage

at

Green Weds Red.

For the weekend that’s in it.

Fergus Keane, of FRO Films, writes:

The Green and Red Luas lines are being joined tomorrow afternoon, and a few actors in Dublin came together to mark this holy matrimony…

Meanwhile…

In fairness.

They’re not joined up. Was it too difficult to make the Red line connect to the Green line at Abbey St and have a tram from Tallaght go to Dundrum? Instead you have to get off and walk to the Marlborough Street stop.

The lines are not connected but fair play on the original characters you have come up with. What happens when an obnoxious west Brit southsider and a working class floozy northsider meet!? 2 worlds collide with hilarious consequences. Throw in LJG in ep 2 if you can afford him

I hope common sense prevails at some point in the future but I have to admit I do like the Danny Day a lot.

Not a frequent user so don’t have any horror stories regular users I know have, but it was a fantastic addition to the city.

Roll on the Metro North! (Before I’m dead)

I hope you get hit by a LUAS for calling it the Danny Day.
I’m not saying that for comedic effect either, I honestly do.

Maybe the C.S? It’s magical for children and roars like a lion..May have done my back in with that stretch..

Not according to what I read about him [quite] a few years ago, Nigel, he would also take photographs, mostly of pre-pubescent girls, apparently; I’m open to correction on this.

Are you SURE that isn’t Lewis Carroll as opposed to CS Lewis? Please don’t take Reepicheep away from me.

Phew for you! My mistake, it was Lewis Carroll, sorry about that! You see now how easily posthumous rumours can be started!

Oh, I’ve thought of another, “The John” (as in John Lewis) – never mind, Charger Salmons will probably get it.

    I apologise Yep.
I was just stressed about Series 2 of The Crown in case it didn’t live up to my expectations.
    Episode 1.
    Liz at the ballet.
    Wow.

    1. Yep

Not a bother Bertie. Last time i used the term Danny Day the tracks had just been laid and I got a similar response.

Must check out The Crown so.
