There’s a picture of this same car on RTE driving about in the flood water much earlier in the day.
Either he/she is a reckless fool, or he/she is super-smart and deliberately attempting to get an insurance payout for an unwanted or unreliable car.

yup, water damaged cars are a big problem if you’re buying secondhand & can be very hard to tell, the uneconomic to repair cars will usually terminate at the auctions…the floorpan carpet and doorcards are your best indicator albeit they are impractical to pull unless you get a period to yourself to examine them properly…if there’s a musty pong from the interior of a car or its obviously doused in shake n vac pine walk away
