Katie Mills writes:

How do you spot an Irish man in a blizzard?

      Hey man, you know
      You’re never coming back
Past the square, past the bridge
Past the mills, past the stacks
      On a gathering storm comes
      A tall handsome man
In a dusty black coat with
      Two sliced pans

Here we are in west cork
Roads good sunshine picture postcard and a mass hysteria has engulfed Dublin
Oh god no bread no milk
Meanwhile in the daily Leo has lost his snow socks
Imagine if the ski resorts coped with a few inches of snow like us

If we had snow like this as often as the ski resorts then we would be much better at coping with it. How is this not obvious?

Speaking of snow, I highly recommend the Austrian Alps this season. More high-grade powder than the recording sessions on Tusk. Well worth the sacrifice of a sunshine break.

Been a while since I did any fieldwork in that location, but I do recall quite a few popped collars there in the mid-90s
