Venial Or Mortal?

at

GOD decides.

Further to bishopric calls for confession for Yes voters.

Phil Noonan writes:

Bless me father for I have voted
To repeal the Eighth to which you were devoted
Will an Act of Contrition
Absolve the commission
Of murder you so often quoted.

FIGHT!

Tempt me not foul serpent lest I fall into a pit of anger again.

And I’m just after calming down again after all the excitement leading up to the referendum.

Is there some sort of sin and penance calculator online to assess your standing if you voted in favour of the divorce, same-sex marriage and repeal the 8th referenda? And how does that affect your heavenly indulgence allowance, particularly if you have extra credits for shit-beaten-out-of-you-in-convent awards? Never any good at profit and loss accounts, so algorithms welcome.

Nope, back on home soil now Lush, thanks for askin’.
What an affluent, beautiful yet whiney old rock this is.
Enjoyed being here for the corner-turn last weekend.
I’m probably within 30km of my old ‘pal’ and raging psycho badatmemes now. Happy days.

welcome back from one newbie to another
          it’s a trip isn’t it
hope you are happy to be back

Thanks Janet and Mildred. And Janet, if you’re back like proper back, returned emigrants are a bit squared out and have a new perspective on Irish life, you might agree? This is my third homecoming. I could write a book on the experiences of arriving home, but a collaboration would be finer.

            I totally agree
you notice all kinds of stuff and behaviour other people think is normal too
felt like a fish out of water which is getting better but I think I’ll only ever feel at home in Paris now after 18 years..still I’ll stay ( for now lol)
            collaboration sounds the business
