Mattie McGrath, Michael Collins and the rest should keep quiet. The people have spoken, now let’s get on with it.

right, people who disagree with you should be silenced.
CoderNerd
Mattie McGrath complained about bias in the citizen’s assembly and bias in the committee and behaved like a child. Yet the citizen’s assembly vote matched the referendum result. McGrath has been proven utterly wrong. 64% voted for no restrictions on reasons for abortion. Mattie should accept all of these democratic processes and in general keep his nose out of women’s healthcare.

There used to be an English band called ‘pop will eat itself’. I think its time for a new one called ‘Tories will eat themselves’.

Yet somehow the Tories remain steadfastly in front of Labour in virtually every single opinion poll.
You’ve been fed the group-think by the Irish media and lap up every morsel like a well-trained poodle.
The Tories are divided but so too are Labour and much more so.The Parliamentary Party hate Corbyn,Momentum hate most Labour MPs,Unite hate Momentum etc etc
The Liberal Democrats are nowhere to be seen, with the only LibDem leader getting any press in recent weeks being Jeremy Thorpe.
Welcome to a vibrant democracy battling on all sides over the biggest upheaval in British history since the Second World War.
Compare and contrast with an Irish government that took three months to form, with no effective opposition and populated by grasping parish pump politicians voted in by an Irish electorate easily cowed into submission by the EU.
Ireland has no power, with its national budget determined by the whim of German bankers and the institutions which bailed it out after the most recent failure by its inept political leadership to manage its own economy.
Immigration is coming along nicely with the already burdened healthcare, education and housing lurching from one crisis to the next with virtually zero long-term planning and investment for the future.
All of this watched over by an unquestioning Irish media selling the myth to its readers and viewers that the good times are on their way back, built on another property boom.
So all in all I’d worry more about what’s going on in your own back yard than having your nose pressed up against the window watching events happening on the mainland.
You haven’t even got a world cup to look forward to this year.
