I can sympathise. It’s the same thing here in SW France most summers, when our oh so quaint and ever so pretty stone houses become furnaces ; the first floor of my house gets up to 25°.
Air conditionning is not an option, so my DIY solution is to put a towel on the bed, have a cool shower and go to bed wet. The evaporation keeps you cool long enough to get to sleep.
Yep cold shower don’t dry off damp tower
ice pack in the dogs bed
keep windows and shutters closed in day time
nap at noon in the dark and eat/run late when it’s cool outside
that’s how I managed 35 in Paris
here to be honest I still have the light duvet on
make sure your bedding is 100 percent cotton or with a silk mix if you can makes a big difference

Sleep nude under a sheet. Works for me.
But only if you’re alone.
