I lknow you don’t normally do this but I lost my phone last Saturday night in Malahide, [Dublin 13] or in the taxi that dropped me back to [nearby] Bayside
The phone is a Samsung Galaxy S7, it’s not in a case but it is in good condition except for a small chip to the screen. The only identifiable mark is a sticker on the back with a barcode and IMEI number.
The phone itself wouldn’t turn on for me (which is why I took it out of its case) but it contains a micro SD card with all my photos on it. No luck at Garda station or cab company.
Most of the photos are of my son since birth, and it was his 1st birthday this weekend so the photos are a particularly big loss…
Anyone?

Struggle to understand why people don’t back things up if the content is so valuable on them.
Surely the original poster has similar posts to this all over Facebook?
I know this won’t help you now, but Google Photos has an automatic back up function. Use it, people!
Graham, log in here https://www.google.com/photos/about/ just in case it’s set up and you didn’t know.
If you have gmail installed on your phone, all your photo’s & video’s should be backed up (hope you get your phone back)
Great headline, that tune is stuck in my head now.
Sorry!
Maybe check your Google Photos, this happened to me when I had my S5 and when I got a new phone I logged on to Google and checked Photos, everything was there. Hope you find it too.
