Is there anything to be said for another mask?
The masks suggest they are afraid for people to see their faces,
Now repeat after me.
– What do we want?
– Houses for everyone!
– Who’s going to pay for them?
– Everyone else!
Roof overhead fair rent, what the suck is wrong with that? The owner is just a leech sucking on the poorest to make even more money. enough is enough
Kay, no point in trying to explain to the blushirt, their hatred of the poor is all..
I mean you’re paying way more for them to shuffle between hostels and hotels and shelters rather than if they were living long term in houses or flats but ok.
The masks suggest they are afraid to be recognised by Dept of Social Welfare.
Fair dues to the protesters using their hard earned annual leave to protest…..
Back to work for them Monday, right?
I want a free gaff in Dublin City Center too!!!!
8am in the morning. AAARGH! ATM Machine. Pin Number.
Fuppwits.
There are many reasons why they might not be at work – day off, night shift worker, lunch hour for those on later shifts and yes unemployed. Is that a crime now, to be down on your luck, to be made redundant, doesn’t mean they haven’t saved money to pay for a fair rent if they could fine one. If these people didn’t protest about the terrible state of affairs in housing then no -one would be protesting and Murphy and the rest of our useless politicians would be only delighted to get away with what goes on in this kip of a country. The housing issue is 7/8 years old at this stage and they have done nothing and will do nothing unless we apply pressure. You want people to work, they need homes to go to after work and sleep and eat, to recharge so that can be effective and happy workers again the next day, they need to be near the jobs that need doing. Should people become slaves to their government, working 9 hour days, commuting for 3 hours, paying stupid money on petrol and insurance and cars or on public transport, giving 60% of your wages in tax and not being able to buy feck all with whats left because everything gets relatively more and more expensive. Fuck that, well may they protest, I am proud of them for taking a stand, we should all be doing it.
