He’s the third star of Ireland’s Dragons’ Den show to join the race – following Sean Gallagher and Gavin Duffy.

Go-getter TV hot-shots think they have the polish, required finesse and cultural literacy to be head of State…no wonder they think if that illiterate donkey Trump can do it…

There’s more presidential candidates than pieces of the actual cross at this point.

At least his platform is slightly realistic

I think we should put the ‘dragons’ into a pit, or a den, say, and let them kick the snots out of each other, and the winner will get to go head to head with Miggeldy in an epic beat poetry battle.

And then maybe, just maybe, we’ll let the winner be president.

Presumably RTÉ have it on rotation. For the 2025 presidential election the candidates will be a selection of the most highly-paid presenters. In 2032 it will be the cast of Fair City.

Is Nathan Carter’s brother from Irish Strictly under 35? Must be the only reason he’s not running.

What a clusterfupp! Just cos one country elected a reality show host, all the zelebs who’ve ever been on one now think they fit the criteria to be President of Ireland.

He was a nice little fella! About the same size as Miggledy so he could wear all his suits. Hoiked in with a belt, obv.

Interesting quick reads on Glassdoor of Claddagh Resources… by admittedly skewed sources. However if i was to run for president I’d scrub the internet of that kinda lark, or make sure it wasn’t 2/3 placed in SERP

Rosie Cotton didn’t threaten anyone with legal action for asking questions about the disposition of a certain set of silver spoons, unlike Lobelia S-B. Probably.

+1 Peter Casey is the stalking horse for Duffy and Gallagher. His role is to be an attack dog on Higgins while the two others get the nomination. Duffy & Gallagher will be transfer friendly so both will benefit each other.

    I have a great idea
Instead of elections we turn it into a celebrity big brother like competition
The competition is over 7 nights where they are all on the house and are given tasks like big brother to do
A phone line to vote them out is the way we do it

The winner gets the salary the free house the car and the unlimited free travel
I also think is is suited to the calibre of who wants to be president
The show can be sindicated world wide with RTE having sole rights
    Marty Morrissey could host it
