gave me my first proper job. absolute gent.
Lovely man. Full of integrity. RIP
RIP.
Hate the publication he’s best know for, but that’s for another day.
but you wrote it today.
A necessary Monitor of The Four Goldmines.
Sad to hear.
Fair dues!
Know little about him but that magazine is a good legacy to leave behind. Long may publications like it continue
RIP. I find the causes celebres of Phoenix editorial team (Irish republicanism/the Middle East) are covered to an extent that is grating at times but it is an absolutely necessary publication and often throws out stories that would not otherwise get an airing. Kudos to the man for founding it and sustaining it for many years. Related to Micheal Mulcahy I think? Maverick and establishment in the one family. Reminds me of Dave McSavage and the rest of the Andrews/Tubridy clan.
The Hibernia magazine – the best publication I have ever read.
The man who exposed the Heavy Gang, who were the agents of the Cosgrove Government in the 1970’s
which in turn outed the so called liberals as fellow travelers of Old Liam……John Mulcahy did the People
of the Nation a service, …he published and printed what the rest hadn’t the gut’s to do
We remember Him…..Good Publishers they were few in this Rotten Republic
Very proper acknowledgement of a man who did good service to the country.
RIP. A real investigator.
