This afternoon.
At the National Concert Hall in Dublin.
Some 480 people from 68 countries are taking part in a Citizenship Ceremony.
They include Lina Chen from Hong Kong (top pic), Sylwia Zablotna from Poland (second pic), Joanna Dukkipati, from India, and her two-year-old son Ethan Dukkipati McCarthy (third and fourth pic), and Daniel Lopez with his three-year-old daughter Megan, from Spain (fifth pic).
Welcome.
Mmf.
Wow to the woman with the defiant sari!
I love these posts :-)
Lovely pictures. A nice change from all the depressing presidential posts
Super stuff! Welcome.
Feckin’ fordiners. Coming over here, deepening our gene pool.
Great to see.
*hides dinner in dresser drawer á la Niall Toibín* Welcome, welcome, welcome!
Can we go around the pubs, round up all the doley bar stools and have a deportation ceremony as well?
Only if we can start with you.
This comment section makes me happy
Delightful pics as always :)
Fair play, in fairness.

well look up lads
congratulations everyone, delighted ye picked Ireland
I’m not racist.
It’s interesting the amount of Polish people I know who have gone for Irish citizenship. Many (that I know at least) have deep issues with Poland the direction its going and feel there is a, admittedly remote, possibility that Poland could leave the EU.
Not only that though, but I know at least 3 who have already taken up the study of Irish and are better than me!
You have to admire that. So welcome to all the newcomers!
