aside from the obvious that people shouldn’t have to sleep out, if you MUST then put your tent somewhere sensible – in a sheltered gap and not beside open water. that tent is in a seriously stupid spot.

You’re the one critiquing their choice of location as though it is easy for them to move somewhere else without being hassled. It isn’t.

Im critiquing their location as dangerous, cold, vulnerable, visible and reckless. You are the one turning the conversation into something it’s not.

As far as I know the tents in the first two pics are belonging to people who are choosing to live off grid. Not that there isn’t a crisis, but those tents aren’t necessarily part of it. Also tents outside city hall? A political statement maybe?

Some of these are “installations”, like the white tent in Cork.

I suppose they want people to look homelessness in the face but there is something unsettlingly opportunistic about it.

      ‘better tell Gemma that so
she’ll need’ta adjust her speeches, tweets and other sound bite messaging

n’ replace this stepping over sleeping bags she was using
with your installations and something unsettlingly opportunistic

you wouldn’t want the girl to be accused of being a conspiracy thingy
      now, would you?

      Really, Would You?
