Yes, the driver may have just pulled up there momentarily to drop off something. Also, if the driver is delivering something to that restaurant, presumably he or she can run out and move immediately if anyone needs to park there, so no one is massively inconvenienced.

Sure they’ll only be 5 minutes.

Has he? How can you tell just by looking at one photo? How do you know that he hasn’t inconvenienced a number of disabled drivers?
It’s this exact attitude that people have a problem with. It doesn’t matter if you’re only going to be five mins. It’s still wrong.

Only 5 minutes?
And what about a wheelchair user looking for a safe spot to pull in? Should they just block the road behind them, sure they will only be 5 minutes?
I do have sympathy for delivery drivers and the lack of concern from many with the ability to do something about it is a worry, transport is the lifeblood of any city and at the moment Dublin is in real need of some anti coagulants and looking at everything from the transport strategies to these new ‘connect’ bus service, it’s doubtful it will change any time soon?

It’s an unspoken rule that once you have the winkers on you can pull up anywhere for 4 minutes and 45 seconds and that includes on double yellows, wheelchair bays, in front of schools, on blind corners, blocking a footpath and in ambulance emergency bays at a hospital. Sure you’re only “running in and out”.
Italicatessan? I presume they’re delivering fonts for some kind of irony competition.
You’ll feel bad when 3 overweight Italians on wheelchairs roll out of the back of that thing
