“HE’S AN ANGRY ELF!”
+ 1
Closing credits. Best part.
“I just like to smile; smiling’s my favourite”
That always gets me.
On entering the Mail room: “This place reminds me of Santa’s Workshop! Except it smells like mushrooms and everyone looks like they want to hurt me.”
My two will get to see it for their 1st time this year, can’t wait to watch (pause and explain) it with them.
‘The best scene in Elf is… well… em… I don’t actually know… because bar a few memes and clips, I haven’t seen any of it. I missed it in cinemas as it just passed me by and I’ve never been into watching Christmas movies outside of the Christmas holidays.
I have on many a Christmas break down through the years thought I’d sit and catch it on TV but have had those times interrupted, as does happen, by visiting family, neighbours or other not-seen-in-ages persons… :/ For that reason, I’m suggesting the scene in the pic is the best because I always did like Bob Newhart :)
Update… For research purposes, I just watched the trailer for Elf, and had an unspoken question answered – “He’s too tall for an elf, wtf?”. And from the trailer I got the answer from Elf when he says “technically I’m human, but I was raised by Elfs”. So, that’s now my new favourite scene, and the answer I wish to submit. I’ve been good aaaaaaall year, I swear. But if swearing is not allowed, I’ll just promise… thank you for reading my entry.
Clampers ;0)
I just finished the trailer… and Peter Dinklage is in the movie too! This is the best trailer ever, ever, everest !
The best scene in Elf is SANTA?! I KNOW HIM!!!!!!
Did you hear that????? Use it every time I burp
The best scene is Buddy running across a bust street and being hit by a Taxi…cracks me up every time
The best scene is Buddy running across a busy street and being hit by a Taxi…cracks me up every time
The best scene in Elf is “So, good news: I saw a dog today!”
It even spawned its own instagram hashtag! (#isawadogtoday”)
The best scene is when Buddy says to the girl “I think you’re really beautiful and I feel really warm when I’m around you and my tongue swells up” as that’s exactly what happened to me when I met my future husband.
same here…
but when I found out i had a peanut allergy.
Two tics for Bertie in the post.
Deffo Peter Dinklage “Call me Elf one more time”
Jumps up on boardroom table
Runs the length of it
Bodyslams Buddy
Stomps out, not a hair out of place.
Good man Tyrion…..eh Miles.
I refer you to my more succinct reply.
BOOM.
‘The best scene in Elf is where he presses all of the buttons in the elevator because it’s the scene I can most likely see myself repeating in real life as an homage to the film. And also to *really* annoy the other lads in the elevator
I hope those tickets go to a good gnome.
I worry about elfen safety in Santa’s workshop
The best part is the singing in the shower (baby, it’s cold outside), then runs into the lockers.
“I’m a cotton-headed ninny muffins”
Poor clumsy human Buddy, in Santa’s workshop making a proper games of everything he puts his shovel hands to!
Isn’t it the best Christmas movie ever?!
That should have read “ I’m a cotton- headed ninny muggins.”
Buddy : You sit on a throne of lies
Every one of these replies, except for MURTLES who just repeated mine using more words, is making me giggle.
‘The best scene in Elf is when the Narwhale says to him “Bye Buddy, hope you find your Dad”.’ Because who isn’t looking for their dad who just popped out to the shops….
