The European Court of Justice in Luxemburg may endorse an anti-Brexit opinion

As Brexit turns into a curse
And Britain goes from bad to worse
Now there’s good news in sight
As it seems they’ve the right
To go suddenly into reverse

Or use the extra time to properly prepare for trading under WTO rules.
    Brexit will not be reversed.

      EXTRA TIME?
Are you kidding? It’s been 2.5 years since the Referendum. Not only are your elected representatives distracted from the daily business of government – unfortunately, so are ours.

It requires an Act of Parliament brought by the Government to reverse Article 50 and a second Act to hold a Second Referendum.
The present government has insisted it will do neither.

except the EU has effectively just given Britain permission to do so – a generous act, you’ll agree. it’s a benevolent parent giving an uppity little brat with learning difficulties a second chance. all the little englanders need to do now is find a way to use this while saving face (which is pretty much all that matters to boorish nationalistic oafs) and we’re good to go. in 20 years time, we’l all be looking back and having a good laugh.

Actually it’s not the EU it’s the ECJ and at the moment it is only advice from its Attorney-General.
Facts never were your strong point my bogger friend.

eh, the ECJ is the supreme court of the EU…

any other questions, I’ll be here until noonish

It is not the EU ” giving permission ” but a legal observation before a ruling by the ECJ,which is independent of the EU.
It is not possible to appeal the decisions of national courts to the ECJ.
Enjoy your lunch with Mammy and tell her Big Ron and his pals will be round tonight for their usual Tuesday get-together.They’re bringing Swarfega.

the “giving permission” bit was obviously designed to bait and tease you, big boy

and it seems to have done the job – reduced to “I’m shagging your mother” jibes. brings me back to the (primary) school yard. dear oh dear.

…you and Big Ron could have a sing-song Ollie…I’ve the chorus of a new song for you:

            Humiliation once again
            Humiliation once again
and Blighty long a colonial power
            it’s capitulaion once again

            …working on a suitable rousing air…shall be in touch…
