A brand new day! The systems works. I might have to change my mind about it all being bulls–t and start exercising my vote next election cycle . I never bothered before but now I know If the right person is voted in then society will get a fair deal and not be influenced by religious institutions and /or market forces! . Long may it continue. Go democracy!! It exist!! its real!!! Its a huge relief ,I was getting too cynical.
The IBRC inquiry has been extended five times and its future is in question.
The Nama inquiry has been extended twice and will now report in June 2019, just months before Nama closes.
And now the Mother and Baby inquiry seeks a one year extension.
The lawyers are loving it! Ker-ching!
But for the rest of us, government by commission of investigation is not working.
Not to mention the Moriarty Report sitting on Taoiseach Enda Kennys desk. Did I say Enda Kenny? Oh yeah it was him, and still there on the now Taoiseach Vacron’s desk.
huh? the Moriarty Report was published in March 2011.
kick the can down the road. The report will never be published in the lifetime of this Government. The Irish people being played like fools.
Zappone is a totally useless Minister.
Id say half of it is caused by the church dragging it’s heels when it comes to handing over records, saying they have them and then saying they don’t at the last second and the government falling for it again and again. ect. The other half , is your straight forward old fashioned overpaid lazy hack ministers. But…. lets place the entire blame on the government anyway. God forbid a photo of the sniveling lying Vatican liaison cleric be included in the sorry photos above. See you all you mindless culcies in mass on sunday!
Worse University Challenge episode ever.
