With huge waiting lists, trolley numbers that are frequently over 500, the elderly on trolleys for more than a day, no dignity, nurses under constant stress, it’s the government that is using patients as pawns.
Hopefully when the nurses win their dispute, this short term pain will be worth it for the long term gain to the betterment of our health system.

Nurses are no longer the doorstop for the health service. Hold your ground. The government can throw away 1billion on a building overrun and no consequences. A gov secretary tells the PAC to f— off. Blame the nurses. Trying to link nurses pay demands with Brexit and government overspend. Shameless stuff. Stick with it nurses.

The reason essential cancer services are not being provided is due to the nurses/IMNO action, simple. They have made their case, but the more radical action they take, the bigger the treat of future illness and death on the patient’s there suppose to be protecting. There’s better methods of getting your message across instead of using Patients lives.
Illness is not a treat.
