Speaking at the European Financial Forum in Dublin Castle this morning. Ireland is open to investment, to capital, to trade, to talent and to creativity.

“Our philosophy is to be a leader blah blah blah”. What? I hate this kind of rhetoric. FG’s “philosophy”. Eff off.
“Blue sky thinking”
so sexy when you’re cranky
I’m “sexy” 24/7 these days.
!
*Jimmy Carr laugh* :)
*Barbara Windsor laugh* and *Kenneth Williams ‘Oh I say!’*
Ireland Inc is still wide open to International Inc. That’s a message our leaders since Sean Lemass have been broadcasting. Ministers who attend St. Patrick’s Day celebrations from San Francisco to Shanghai will rebroadcast that message. It’s business as usual.
Leo has no philosophy – he’s a bad puppet, an intern promoted way beyond his abilities.
I doubt he was ever even a doctor.
Eh, no. He was. I know someone who worked with him. He didn’t give a toss about being one, though, apparently. He had his eye on another career.
‘Do you concur?’
‘Concur with what sir?’
you’re morally obliged, Hoop, to turn those two lines into a limerick
There was a young lady from Birr
Whose wotsit was covered with fur
The doctor said YUCK
Nobody will that hole *uck
Do you concur, concur with what sir?
Sadly, Hoop’s line doesn’t make sense, but that’s her fault.
Oy, it makes sense to those who are familiar with the movie, Andy! The fake Doctor Frank Connors and his contribution to medical training.
Oh, right! Back of the net, then.
haha
(although as a furry minge devotee, i do not concur)
It’s “Jimmy Carr” chuckles all round today :)
leo makes a mockery of the peter principle.
IRELAND is open to all kinds of corporate skulduggery- just ask.
..and a nice bit of tax dodging to boot. Varadkar really is full of poo.
You do realise that “businesses” is what pays for your public services, gives income to workers and in general drives the economy???
tax is what mostly pays for public services – business accounts for only one part of the total tax scheme.
we also receive grant and social funding from europe and we run an asset and investment portfolio. but you knew all that, i’m sure.
Tax – as in the 50% of my pay I hand over every month from my salary which I get from my American tech company that employs me?
It is improbable that you are handing over 50% of your salary in tax and highly likely that you are conflating
the marginal rate of tax with the effective rate of tax.
