Durkan says he supported a bill similar to the Occupied Territories Bill when he was an MP and describes it as a “sensible sort of approach”.
The party he is running for is blocking it from becoming law

.@markdurkan – “I’ve a record in Westminster of being a very strong of the rights of the Palestinian people” @trocaire #standforjustice #socialjusticematters “I would not trust the EU with a universal taxation policy”

Clare Daly says there is no reason that Occupied Territories Bill can’t become law, Sinn Féin activist in the audience whispers “hear, hear”.
Definitely a lot of crossover between Boylan and Daly here today #ep2019

Fitzgerald comes back in with a general point to remind people about how much “communism and extreme socialism has failed”.
A small bit of laughter from the audience behind me, one man whispering: “Wrong crowd, Frances, wrong crowd.”

Frances ‘Generalisation’ Fitz being laughed at.
All her supporters were at work this morning. Definitely the wrong crowd Frances.
Gillian Brien of PBP missing from thatine up?
The joke candidates are too. No Gemtrails, Hermannnn, Gilroy, or Creepy Eamonn and his Ultrasound.
Gemtrails….brilliant!
+1
Love it.
Maybe they were only inviting candidates from parties who are polling at higher than 1%…
Go Clare…..
Google Ads has given me a large “Israel Bonds” advertisement on this page that I haven’t seen before. I wonder if it has anything to do with the mention of the Occupied Territories, or pure coincidence.
The thought of Frances Fitzgerald at this sounds hilarious. Hope they’re releasing a DVD at some point.
I live in FF’s constituency and am looking forward to one of her supporters knocking on the door.
I intend to tell them that I voted for her in the GE to be my local TD, if she doesn’t get in as an MEP I am done with her as I do not vote for quitters…. :)
All lies of course but they seem to thrive on lies, Franny in particular. I’d rather eat ground glass than vote for her or her corrupt idiots party.
Where do the Green Party stand on the 12.5% corporation tax rate?
