My Dad’s Blind.
An irreverent play by Anna Sheils-McNamee (top) about her relationship with her visually impaired father (played by Steve Blount) showing at the Abbey Theatre on the Peacock stage on July 30-31.
Producer Donncha O’Dea writes:
My Dad’s Blind was awarded Best Production at the Dublin Fringe Festival 2018 and is now returning to the Abbey Theatre as part of the Young Curators Festival ahead of a nationwide tour.
Based on Anna’s life, with material sourced from her father John , My Dad’s Blind challenges the perceptions of people with disabilities in today’s society.
