Sometimes I wish I had embarked on a makey-up career telling people how to live.

And increase the risk of diabetes. Just eat the fruit. The fibre is good for you.

The less processed the better, but if they weren’t slicing limes and red cabbage above, why would their presence be required at all? It would be like you were paying an admission fee for nothing.

In fairness Holly White looks amazing. I’d nearly have a sex change if I could end up looking as good as she does.

Exhibitions and trade shows, regardless of subject, are a license to print money:
An organising company, lets say Money-for-Nothing Exhibits (MfNEx) hires the venue and then charges the exhibitors a jaw-dropping fee per SqM of stand space. The exhibitor bites their lip and coughs up.
Then MfNEx lashes on a hefty charge for visitors/customers to enter what is in effect a large shop.
Yes they throw in a few “guest speakers” to beef it up but it’s a well developed racket at this stage.

And just look how many pass through the RDS (for example) each year.

    Identical vacant, soulless grimaces.
The kind of expression practised for hours in front of a mirror for the express purpose of a photoshoot.
“look how joyful and at ease I am,” it says, “I have been exactly this amount of joyful and at ease for the past 40 minutes while they got the lighting sussed out to make me appear within a very finely calculated margin of perfect”

My sentiment entirely, or to put it in a slightly different context.
