They surely do. They really do.
Do council workers actually get trained for the job or have to have some experience for the job they are doing or is it still like the old days, where your father had a council shovel and passed it down through the sons.
Look at the shocking road repairs around Dublin City. Whoever does them should be sacked for the lazy and dangerous work.
The management are too lazy and cowardly to sack anyone. At least anyone they know will cause them more headaches with tribunals and stuff for ‘unfair’ dismissal. At most the public service will reprimand soft targets instead, the type of staff with no other family or connections in the civil service, like recent recruits who forget to post in a half day dentist cert an actual real doctor visit. Meanwhile tubs there, getting his kebab, probably pulls a sicky on average once a fortnight for the last 20 years and no one is going to do a thing about it. (bad back again ) The trick to being dishonest and have a brass neck about it. I know at least 5 public servants who either come in late every day ,and/or take at least one day off sick every two weeks like clockwork and will continue to do so for another decade. Eating up public money and new recruits wonder why the starting salary decreases every year.
You do realise that Dublin City Parking Enforcement is carried out by a private company?

If you’re attempting to protect the privacy of the gentleman in the foreground you’re failing. As always, I really think you guys should reconsider posting pics of easily identifiable people without their consent. The Council guy has his whole faced blanked out. Why not the person in the front of the shot?

Don’t see why the number of a vehicle working for DCC is blanked out. Not private information and we are paying for it.
