Dublin City councillors want to bring the remains of James Joyce and his wife Nora Barnacle back to Ireland from  Flunturn cemetery Zurich, Switzerland.

There once was an author, James Joyce
Possessed of a singular voice
His death overseas
Is causing unease
As a Dublin grave was his choice

I’d say James is past caring,
oh but wait we could set up a walking tour if we had his grave…sorry I’m cynical about the motivation here

I imagine so, which was why I asked but stranger things have happened. It would be nice to have him home but then, he didn’t really consider it much of a home.

Leave the pair of them where they are and allocate the budget and transfer site intended for residential use, or something that can make an actual impact to living Dubs in need

You’d never think that Dublin city was the at the epicentre of a housing crisis, with all the motions being passed about flags, the Eurovision, and now long-dead authors.

Could John Moynes attempt to write a limerick in the form of a stream of consciousness, with the same rhyming scheme naturally?
