“Poppy will honour civilians and terror victims beside the fallen”

More cynical ‘psy ops’ from the British establishment? One could justify taking a stance against wearing the poppy on the grounds that it’s being used as a PR stunt for British imperialism, but isn’t this new rebranding just an attempt to undermine that standpoint?

    – Oh you’re not wearing the poppy? That’s an insult to the memory of dead civilians and terror victims! –

There’s more appropriate ways to commemorate civilian deaths

The Cambridges wear Indian dress and travel in a black and amber scooter taxi. May we expect an Irish taoiseach to wear a kilt and eat haggis when on an official visit to Scotland?

I’m genuinely always eager to find out how the Daily Express twists the latest news into headlines that seem vaguely positive in spite of everything. Usually accompanied by the same file photo of BJ with fist clenched.

I’m interested to see how the dup spin their accepting of the same backstop agreement they rejected so many times before, though any agreement cannot pass parliament, labour would be handing bojo a landslide election if they allow him to brexit on the 31st

you’d have to swap the predator for one of those ugly looking hyena yokes, more of a skulking shapeshifting scavenger type of creature

What an elegant way to describe them
Some of them don’t deserve it
          In fairness

But I’ll be hacking that for future application
          Always a lady Janie
