        And because it’s kids, it’s the hardest work they’ll do. You try keep the attention of a few hundred kids for 2 hours and see how you get on.

      I just see it as larking about in fancy dress, and getting unwarranted amounts of money for it.
      Guess I’m a panto-sceptic.

        I don’t think they paid loads of money. And normally there is matinée and an evening show 5 or 6 days a week; it’s a grueling enough couple of months, I’d say.

    Damn- I thought the Tivoli being torn down would have at least one upside of never seeing Sammy fecking Sausages on posters ever again. ;(

      Do you know what: I think I’ll visit each panto this year and do a review for BS come Jan. Maybe, just maybe, there is a sliver of silver in those double entendres.
